The Hyatt Centric Hotel are accepting applications for a Purchasing Assistant to work closely with the Purchasing Manager to oversee the smooth running of stocks, orders, delivery and the delivery/car parking areas of the Hyatt Centric Hotel. The Hyatt Centric was recently voted in the Top 10 Hotels in Ireland on Tripadvisor so you will be joining a renowned property under a global brand. The hotel is also proud to be accredited Outstanding Employer status by Failte Ireland as part of their Employer Excellence team.Roles and Responsibilities:

Accept and check deliveries and ensure they are transferring appropriately within the hotel. ·
Ensuring security and safety protocols are followed in Hotel Car Park/Delivery areas.
Input of dockets to system.
PO Administration.
Stationery Management.
To ensure that Health & Safety standards are complied with.
Liaising with all departments within the hotel regarding maintenance issues/updates.
Liaising with Contractors & Delivery agents.
Ongoing reviewing and management of costs.
Working closely with internal customers to ensure adequate supply of stock.

Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 1-2 years in a similar role.
Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work on own initiative and be proactive at problem solving.
