Administrative OfficerRegulatory Services Team20 hoursShift Pattern 08.45am-2.45pm, Monday-FridayGrade C Scp 4 £23,114 to Scp 6 £23,893 pro rata to hours worked,(£11.98 to £12.38 per hour)Permanent ContractThe Role:We have a vacancy for a part time administrative officer in the Service Support Team – the post is part time, preferably 8.45am to 2.45pm Monday to Friday (20 hours per week).The Service Support Team makes an effective contribution to the efficient operation and administration of Regulatory Services, which includes Environmental Health, Trading Standards, Licensing, Pest Control, and Education and Enforcement.The successful applicant will work as part of a small but dedicated team and will use the Civica database to input data, and will assist in the maintenance of our premises database.You will use Microsoft Word and Excel to produce letters, reports, spreadsheets and other documents. You will deal with enquiries and complaints from members of the public over the telephone and in writing, and carry out general office duties including administration of petty cash and ordering supplies etc using the i-Procurement system.About You:You must have excellent communication skills and be able to respond to enquiries in a constructive and helpful manner, both verbally and in writing.You must have good IT skills and be able to accurately input and retrieve data, and have be able to undertake general office duties.The successful applicant must have a flexible approach to work and be comfortable working as part of a team, being organised and able to prioritise work in accordance with the demands of the service.About Us:This is your opportunity to join us at an exciting time as we have strong ambitions for the borough.Bolton is a great place to work.
