If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesA sneak peek into this role:IBM is looking for a self-driven and highly motivated Category Specialist / Sourcing Lead with proven experience to join our IBM Procurement Services team for one of IBM’s key client to support sourcing activities within EMEA region.
As a Category Specialist/Sourcing Lead you will lead sourcing projects. Along with Category Managers, you will also be providing category insights to assist in their strategy development. You would need to independently run larger scale procurement projects requiring independence of thought, strong stakeholder management skills and advanced negotiation and support periodic key stakeholder meetings with client to review category strategy and activities.Why you’ll love your job:

- Fluency in English (and German or French is a plus)
- 3-7 years of Sourcing experience, preferably within Marketing Category
- The Category Specialist/Sourcing Lead is responsible for working with key stakeholders to understand Marketing business needs and objectives
- The Category Specialist/Sourcing Lead will assist our clients with strategic sourcing and engage budget holders in strategic procurement strategies to maximize ROI from the investment, appropriate levels of service and compliance with procedures and ensure that professional best practice is achieved. This includes the creation and execution of RFx events, negotiation and contract development, in line with client requirements
- Build and maintain open and transparent relationships with business colleagues that contribute to mitigating change resistance
- Be recognized as a trusted commercial advisor and an expert in deriving value whilst meeting operational needs
- Self-sufficient in gathering and analyzing data to provide insights that support decisions Team player attitude, energetic and pragmatic personality with excellent communication skills
- Proactive attitude, self-driven with developed leadership skills, high levels of personal drive, initiative and commitment to business goals
- IT skills: Ariba, Coupa, SAP, MS Office, SharePoint
- Experience with dashboards and reporting tools
