ActivitiesThe "Testing & Digital Engineering" Department of the Fuels & Lubricants R&D Department of TotalEnergies is looking for a Power Electronics R&D Engineer - Electric Charging and Vehicles who, thanks to his expertise in the field of power electronics, will fully participate in carrying out TotalEnergies' ambition to be an innovative player in new forms of mobility.The position is based in Solaize but involves frequent trips to Le Havre.As a Power Electronics R&D Engineer, you have the following responsibilities:
  • Setting up testing benches and qualifying electric vehicle charging technologies
  • Organizing and supervising internal tests about power electronics technologies
  • Ensuring the follow-up of collaborations and tests carried out with external partners
  • Analyzing and interpreting data from tests in order to improve the reliability of the solutions adopted
  • Contributing to the development of innovative thermal management solutions using dielectric fluid for power electronics (chargers, on-board electronics…)
  • Contributing to the implementation of predictive models in the field of electric vehicle charging
  • Be a R&D correspondent of the Charging Services Business Unit regarding the 'charger technology' part
  • Ensuring new technologies monitoring and the follow-up or development of patents on charger technologies and on-board power electronics on vehicles
  • Participating in interprofessional organizations in your field of activity
  • Attending conferences on your field of activity and, if necessary, present certain works
  • Respecting and enforcing the establishment's QHSE commitments
