- Review tender documents and communicate key requirements to the Bid Manager.
- Collaborate on win strategies and understand quality section scoring criteria.
- Develop delivery plans in line with company procedures.
- Obtain support from Business Units for bid development.
- Produce bid documentation reflecting industry values.
- Facilitate tender meetings and ensure bid documents meet customer requirements.
- Evaluate client project briefs and develop case studies for past projects.
- Present key customer requirements and bid basis.
- Ensure bid preparation follows company procedures and obtain necessary sign-offs.
- Demonstrate understanding of quality submission scoring.
- Achieve at least 80% of available marks in responses.
- Deliver responses according to the client's tender programme.
- Collaborate with tendering teams.
- Provide handover documents post-contract award.
- Understanding of commercial aspects in civil engineering.
- Experience in civil, water, waste, rail, or tunnelling sectors.
- Knowledge of current HSEQ requirements.
- Proficiency in written English, especially technical writing.
- Completion of formal bid writing training.
