We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern is Monday-Friday (37 hours per week).East Dunbartonshire Joint Learning Disability Team have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Band 6 Community Learning Disability Charge Nurse to join our team based in the Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre.The post holder must be a first level registered nurse- RNLD and have two years post registration experience with evidence of proven leadership skills and competent technical, specialist and professional knowledge within the field of learning disabilities.You will be responsible for managing your own caseload the management and supervision of junior nursing staff. You will operate as an autonomous practitioner with a dynamic integrated service providing person centred care. You will provide highly specialised clinical expertise, knowledge and skills in the promotion and maintenance of optimum health for adults with learning integrated approach between partners across the health and social care continuum.
