Operating internationally, they have a presence in the UK, Poland, and India.Your new role:As a Senior Electrical Engineer, youll play a crucial role in our client team, enjoying a significant level of independence. Theyre seeking someone who is meticulously organised, adaptable, ambitious, and adept at planning ahead to uphold high-quality work standards within tight deadlines. Additionally, you should possess leadership skills to oversee and mentor junior team members in electrical engineering aspects of projects. Your key duties will encompass:
- Leading designated projects as the Project Leader
- Collaborating within larger project teams
- Representing us in principal meetings and client presentations
- Elevating the teams technical prowess in electrical engineering
- Cultivating relationships to become a key client contact over time
- Fostering repeat business through exceptional client service
- Tackling diverse, challenging projects across various sectors
- Engaging with clients throughout all project phases, from inception to completion
- Collaborating closely within a team environment to achieve shared objectives
- Creating drawings and specifications
- Conducting calculations or guiding colleagues in completing them
- You should have a minimum of 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in building services design.
- Experience in software design utilising the Microsoft suite, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, and Revit is preferred.
- Familiarity with British and European Standards, Building Regulations, and HTM's would be advantageous.
- Professional membership in organisations such as CIBSE or IET is desirable.
- A solid grasp of HV/LV systems and integration of embedded generation is required.
- An understanding of and ability to specify various renewable technologies is essential.
- Working knowledge of BREEAM is beneficial.
- An appreciation of mechanical engineering to effectively contribute to interdisciplinary meetings is valued.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary.
- A strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills is essential.
