Learning and Development Advisor – This is a home based role part time 14 hours per week over 2 days covering Northwest England with travel across Kendal, Preston, Penrith..***Applicants must live within the North West England area***Full UK Driving licence and access to own transport required.About Leonard CheshireOne in five people in the UK will become disabled in their lifetime.For nearly 75 years, we have worked directly with disabled people to give them the freedom to live their lives the way they choose with the opportunity to fully take part in society.Today, our staff provide social care services support to help over 2000 disabled people across the UK.In addition to offering high-quality care and community support, we lead campaigns to influence government to implement legislation that positively benefits the lives of disabled people. As well as fighting for disabled people’s rights, we collaborate with partners to deliver support and life-changing programmes.About the role.You will join our national team of Learning and Development Advisors, working in partnership with Operations Managers, Quality and Compliance team and Service Managers to support staff in services with their learning and development requirements. Delivering mandatory training online and face to face, ensuring KPI’s are met and maintained.About You
  • Working as part of a team you will be home based but able to drive with access to your own vehicle.
  • The role may require you to stay away from home at times, so a flexible attitude is key with the ability to manage own time.
  • Experience of delivering training in a virtual setting and face to face essential.
  • Familiarity of working with an LMS system preferred but can be given training.
  • A background or knowledge of Health and Social Care or the charitable sector essential.
  • A Teaching/training qualification beneficial although training can be provided for the right applicant.
  • Experience of delivering or a working knowledge of First Aid Training.
  • Proficient IT Skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Able to work in isolation as well as part of a team with excellent communication skills.
