You will spearhead research functions in our Walnut Creek office, building lasting relationships with our real estate advisors. This includes organizing a platform of comprehensive commercial real estate market data, partnering with marketing to present materials to win new business, responding to inquiries from advisors, and training advisors and staff on how to use research resources. The Research Analyst collaborates with the marketing team and partners with advisors to develop materials to inform clients about the market in pitches and regular touchpoints.In this role, you will…You will collect and organize diverse real estate information and data from a variety of sources including news stories, conversations with advisors, and research databases. Share collected information with relevant parties throughout the officeYou can track market activity using internal and external resources. Provide company and industry research using on-line and in-house resources.You will write quarterly market reports and other summaries of market information for potential clientsAssist advisors with listing presentations by participating in planning meetings and providing market analysis, statistics and direct research supportTrain advisors and staff in use of research applications such as Costar, Real Capital Analytics, and proprietary database toolsYou thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can use your amazing multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines with uncompromised ethics/integrity.What you’ll bringAt least 2+ years Research experience in a similar industryBachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Strong analytical skills and experience using a research databaseExperience in ArcGIS or other GIS software is a plusPursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information:Area/Location Specific: Walnut Creek, CAApproximate Salary Range for this Role: $53,835.00 to $99,900.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
