To further enhance its position as Category Captain & Product Leader, we’re looking for a Category Manager Patisserie.Your function:
- Manage data/insights analysis to define the market and consumer trends in Patisserie and how to position the LLBG Bakery Vision
- Create short/mid/long-term category & business strategies for the Patisserie category within the Belgian retail channel with a focus on the increase of topline growth, category valorisation & Innovation
- Develop the innovation & renovation strategy for the category and deliver category inno/reno pipeline
- Identify growth opportunities, analyze market dynamics, and recommend portfolio adjustments to drive market share and profitability
- Drive & support in specific customer business plans to drive category performance
- Develop and execute category portfolio strategy, aligning it with business objectives, market trends, and consumer insights
- Define and maintain pricing architecture for the category to drive growth and margin
- Create a powerful instore consumer experience for the Patisserie category
- You have a Master's degree and several years of experience in a category management or commercial strategic role in Food, FMCG or retail
- You are fascinated by consumer centricity, and your marketing strategic insight reflects this in the translation into clear category plans & roadmaps. At the same time, you like a hands-on approach and deliver the agreed executions with a sense of excellent detail towards the consumer/ customer/internal stakeholders
- You possess the necessary commercial acumen and have the self-confidence and sufficient extraversion to overcome barriers and accelerate relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- You have an affinity with consumer, market & business data and you’re able to translate insights in initiatives & action plans
- You have a positivism and highly developed EQ, which help you in interactions and relationships - to get your internal/external stakeholders facing the same direction in an empathetic manner. You succeed in convincing others with a can-do mentality
- You are a real foodie
- You are fluently bilingual Dutch/French
