The Regulatory Affairs AVP is a crucial role within the Risk & Compliance department, responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to financial regulations. This position requires a diligent professional with a strong understanding of the regulatory environment within the financial services industry.
  • Liaising with the regulator to manage regulatory risk, and implementing new regulations in order to maintain a strong relationship with the regulator and avoid fines.
  • This role holder will be one of the approved contacts with the PRA and FCA supervisors.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage queries and examinations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the Head of Regulatory Affairs as an SME across the EMEA region.

  • A degree in a related field.
  • Proven experience in a regulatory role within the financial services industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial services regulations and laws.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Our client is a highly regarded international bank based in their City of London office.
  • A competitive salary range of £50,000 to £70,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working - 2 days a week in City of London office.
