Join our customer`s team as a Manufacturing Process Engineer! As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in improving and optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.Responsibilities:
  • As a Process Engineer Manufacturing, you play a crucial role in our company. Your main responsibility is to continuously enhance the efficiency of our manufacturing operations by providing recommendations for optimizing workflows, workstations, machines, and equipment.
  • You will begin by thoroughly analyzing our production processes, methods, and equipment for piecework, welding, assembly, and testing. By examining existing drawings, work instructions, and conducting interviews with our skilled workers, you will create a comprehensive overview of the entire process flow from design to assembly, including the necessary tools and equipment.
  • Whenever needed, you will develop clear work instructions and parts lists, ensuring smooth operations. Additionally, you will contribute to the design of auxiliary equipment, such as welding jigs, with the goal of improving lead times, eliminating bottlenecks, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • You will also be responsible for providing training to our production team on any process updates and advancements. Your expertise in identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation will be essential. Collaborating closely with management, you will define and manage investment projects that align with our continuous improvement goals.
  • In order to gather necessary data, you will have frequent communication and collaboration with various departments, including Production, R&D, purchasing, and logistics.
Requirements
  • You have a strong background in electromechanics or a related field with a professional bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Having previous experience in a dynamic production environment, specifically in mechanical engineering or metal construction, will give you a significant advantage.
  • You are familiar with CAD, PLM, and ERP systems.
  • Being on the shop floor is something you genuinely enjoy.
  • Your curiosity knows no bounds; you have an innate desire to understand how things work.
  • In addition to your proficiency in technical matters, you possess excellent communication skills.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of English. If you also happen to speak some French, that would be a valuable asset.
  • You are known for daring initiatives and always approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset.
