CMC are hiring! We have a permanent opportunity for a Bilingual Client Services Associate (Mandarin & English) to join our Onboarding team, based in our Chatswood, Sydney office.Please note that we operate onsite working and would need someone to come into our Chatswood office 5 days per week.This position is only open to Sydney based candidates with full working rights (e.g. Citizen/Permanent Resident).CMC Markets is a global leader in CFD trading and share investing. Over 1.2 million clients make 67 million trades with us every year, and we’re still growing.Please note that we operate onsite working and would require you to come into our Chatswood office.The APAC Operations team are responsible for the end-to-end operational functions covering the APAC Invest & CFD businesses, with staff based in Sydney & Singapore. The APAC Onboarding & Maintenance team has the responsibility for the processing and continual transformation of customer onboarding & maintenance, compliance program implementation, KYC and AML, periodic partner and regulatory reporting amongst other duties.RoleResponsible for timely and accurate processing of non STP new accounts and account maintenance for the CMC Invest businesses. Ensuring that every account is compliant with CMC’s Onboarding and AML/KYC policies and procedures.Responsibilities
  • Has ownership for the new client account opening process, including reviewing non STP applications to ensure all aspects are completed and correct
  • Has ownership for ensuring all account documentation meets regulatory requirements. This includes KYC, AML and appropriateness and sanctions checks
  • Ensure all new client details are accurately updated in all relevant systems (back office, online trading platform)
  • Share relevant information regarding new client accounts with premium client managers in a timely manner
  • Effectively deal with internal queries relating to all aspects of customer onboarding & maintenance with a focus on getting it right first time every time
  • Provide support to the customer and adviser facing teams to ensure a consistently high quality customer experience
  • Read and comply with CMC policies and procedures as they relate to your employment
Key Skills & Experience
  • Scrupulous attention to detail
  • Experience of working in an administrative role, ideally within financial services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Mandarin & English)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with key stakeholders across other teams
  • Ability to handle large volumes of processing to ensure that service levels are met
  • Experience using large scale workflow systems (e.g. Salesforce) preferred
  • Basic understanding of stockbroking back office processes advantageous but not essential
  • Process Improvement, identifying what needs changing and articulating the requirements to business analysts or the wider development team
  • Operates with integrity and an exceptionally high client centric mind-set
