As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll oversee the functional scope of various software development projects, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our initiatives. You'll lead weekly business workshops with stakeholders, driving discussions, identifying issues, and defining actionable solutions. Managing stakeholder relationships will be central to your role, along with preparing workshop presentations and articulating detailed feature requirements for our customers.Collaborating closely with technical experts from both local and offshore teams, you'll ensure a smooth transition from analysis to solution design. Proficiency in standard BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Enterprise Architect will be essential. Your solid IT background will enable you to support technical leads and effectively communicate decisions to our customers.In addition to defining backlog priorities with Product Owners, you'll craft user stories in English and validate test cases created by customers. Supporting and mentoring junior BAs will also be part of your responsibilities, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the team.This role requires flexibility, as you'll be expected to travel twice a week, with one day in Zurich and another in Aarau. Experience in Agile Methodologies, particularly Scrum, is highly desirable, as is a self-organized, solution-oriented, and proactive approach to your work.Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software development projects.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in standard BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Enterprise Architect.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead workshops and engage with multiple stakeholders.
Fluency in German, with the ability to articulate detailed feature requirements for customers.
Solid IT knowledge, with the ability to support technical leads and communicate decisions effectively.
Experience with Agile Methodologies, particularly Scrum, is preferred.
Willingness to travel twice a week, with one day in Zurich and another in Aarau.
