We are currently looking for a Database Administrator (m/w/d) to support our client in Basel.Our client specializes in global economic evaluation and value communication and would like to hire a temporary employee for 6 months at max. 50% workload. This job can be performed from remote location in Switzerland.Responsibilities:
Manage Model (web app with tech stack) coded in Java and MongoDB database
Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
Drive automation of code
Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed
Ongoing operation and maintenance of MongoDB instances and deployments
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
Min. 3 years of experience with advanced MongoDB, data design, query design, indexing and query optimization.
Good working knowledge in Java / Spring Boot
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Fluent in English
