And our reputation for Swiss engineering standards has made us a trusted choice for industry leaders like Lufthansa, UBS, Swiss Life, and millions of people around the world.The objective of the role:As Lead Data Analytics, you will spearhead our analytics efforts, ensuring data-driven decision-making spreads through every level of our organization. Your and your team's insights will directly influence strategic decisions, empowering Smallpdf, and PDFTools to continue its path of innovation and customer-centric development.Responsibilities:Own the strategic analytics and data operations at the company level.Proactively monitor business-relevant metrics and identify anomalies or areas for improvement.Drive the generation of actionable business and customer insights, ensuring they influence both teams and leadership.Advocate for and lead improvements in our data infrastructure to support deep, ongoing insights aligned with our business goals.Ensure high standards of data quality and automate processes to enhance efficiency.Manage stakeholder relationships, prioritize their data needs, and oversee the data analytics team's work.Stay on top of industry trends and evolve our analytics tools and practices accordingly.Hands-on participation in data analysis, including writing and reviewing SQL transformations and managing data flows in our BI tools.We Use the Latest Technologies, Including:SQL with dbt for data transformationLooker for business intelligence and analyticsYour Profile:Strong technical background, preferably with a Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering degree.Minimum of 2 years' leadership experience.Minimum of 5 plus years experience in data analytics.Proven experience in SQL and familiarity with dbt and Looker.Previous leadership experience in a data team, preferably within a scale-up environment.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle stakeholder management and conflict resolution.A vigilant, detail-oriented approach to data quality.Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest in data analytics and BI technology.Why Smallpdf?Here, every task and every challenge is an opportunity to innovate and make a genuine impact.
