Customs and Trade (Senior) Consultant

• Provide strategic advice to Swiss and international clients on Swiss and EU customs and trade regulations, including classification, valuation, origin, preferential trade agreements and export controls and sanctions.
• Develop solutions to complex customs-related challenges, including customs audits, investigations, and disputes.
• Assist clients in understanding the impact of customs and trade laws on their business operations and supply chain.
• Have contact with clients, local and foreign Customs Authorities as well as with Customs, Trade and VAT experts from our international PwC network.
• You are working in our VAT and Customs team in Zurich.
• Participate in the development of our indirect tax practice.

• A degree in accounting, economics, business or law or similar education in the field of International Customs and Trade.
• 2 to 4 years work experience around international Customs and Trade topics.
• Proven track record of managing customs and trade compliance and advisory projects.
• Fluency in English is required, knowledge of German, French or Italian is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills as well as consulting and team oriented mindset and take on responsibility for your projects.
• You are helping continuously to improve our service offerings.E
• Experience with customs & trade related technologies is a plus.
