Switzerland.Having only recently commenced underwriting property insurance from Switzerland this is an excellent
opportunity for a dynamic and driven candidate to be involved in shaping the business from the outset to build
a successful property account.This position will be based out of our Zurich office and it's very much a market facing role. The successful
candidate should be a team player whilst also being able to work independently.

What you'll be doing:
- Underwriting commercial and corporate property insurance submissions from the Swiss market
- Developing relationships with brokers and clients
- As a business in a development phase, you'll be actively engaged in the following important areas as
o International programs
o Pricing tools
o Wording & product development
o Defining underwriting strategy
o Risk Engineering
- Collaborating with other lines of business (Financial lines, Marine & Casualty), distribution and country
- Experience (5-10 years) in property insurance underwriting (focussing on large commercial and
food and jewellery would be an advantage.
- Technical expertise in energy underwriting, experience in technical industries such as heavy chemical
- International insurance program experience
- A collaborative, team approach to your work
- A “can do” solution focussed approach to your tasks.
- Familiarity with catastrophe models
- Knowledge of the various pooling arrangements and market solutions unique to Switzerland
- Fluency (written and spoken) in German and English. French would be an advantage.
