IFF is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual with knowledge of the dairy industry to fulfil our Dairy Technical Sales position.Your focus
The Dairy Technical Sales will drive the Dairy & Beverage market segment in the SEA and Indonesia markets. You would serve as the primary face to the industry, representing Dairy & Beverage, Food ingredients while maintaining and growing existing business through our Account manager network and initiating new opportunities in the Dairy & Beverage space.How you will contribute and lead
- A solid understanding of the Dairy customer network and Dairy industry trends.
- Develop thorough knowledge of the full range of IFF product offerings to support our customers and IFF Dairy & Beverage sales team to uncover opportunities.
- Providing input and knowledge to the Dairy & Beverage category team to build future growth initiatives and opportunity pipeline for Food Ingredients and Systems.
- Develop with Account Managers in Country and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Drive sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals established for the SEA & Indonesian region.
- Manage and build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders both externally with customers and internally at IFF to uncover unmet needs at the key customers.
- Align the activities of Dairy & Beverage innovations, Design applications, Marketing and Business Unit's with the Dairy & Beverage Category Strategy plan.
- Provide technical/application information to customers in collaboration with our innovations and technical groups to develop pipeline in line with Dairy & Beverage category teams targets.
- Interact continuously with regional and global leadership, BU leaders, Product Line Managers and Innovations and Applications leaders to leverage regional and global knowledge into Indonesia & SEA.
- Maintain a resilient can-do mentality and drive actions to deliver on customer expectations.
- Four (4) year university or college degree in food science or other life science curriculum
- Proven experience with at least 8 years of sales experience
- Strong demonstrated competency in Application or commercial development roles
- Intimate technical knowledge of the Dairy & Beverage industry
- Technical marketing and/or product sales related to selling functional food ingredients
- Demonstrated skills in Strategic Planning and Execution
- Experience is sales pipeline management with salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Skilled communicator that works effectively in a team environment and who can communicate to a matrix of groups including senior leadership, technical, marketing and finance
- This position may require up to 30-40% travel
