- Manages and coordinates regional projects for adequate project and safety coverage including Field coordination, Milestone Schedule development, assistance in conducting weekly CM meetings aligning with project manpower needs and all other project/safety concerns
- Writes Safe Work Permit documents by utilizing the Global standard, to maintain consistent permit issuance, alliance to the Life Critical Standards, and confirm that all required trainings are current
- Maintains and coordinates regional CM projects for safety, quality, budget, and schedule
- Completes proper project close out with FM’s which include: Punch list, As-built drawing submissions, Project Completion Checklist, MOC’s, IOES release, and document retention
- Utilizes GPM process for applied projects in conjunction with aligned standards for Corporate Facilities set parameters
- Manages other Construction Management contract teams and Safe Work Permit writers for named region
- Documents, implements, measures, and tracks annual goals throughout the year, in vertical alignment with Corporate Facilities Global Leadership goals
- Acts in a representative capacity for Corporate Facilities PMO in matters covered by the construction contract
- Manages the adherence to the Dow construction safety standards, construction contracts, field inspections, construction progress, construction orders, marshaling of equipment/materials, and communication to the steering team
- Operates as liaison between Project Manager, Engineering, Construction teams, Site Operations, and safety/health teams
- Assures quality of installations per specifications, construction efforts, and safety and health regulations
- Reviews and validates bid submissions, payment requisitions, and change orders in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Validates value engineering and cost-cutting proposals set forth by the contractors and the CM team
- Reports and maintains effective communications regarding the region(s) of responsibility to the Director of Construction Management
- A minimum of an associate's degree, 5 years relevant experience, or 3 years or more of military training/experience
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
- Degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management, Engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of multiple construction trades including Civil, Electrical, & Mechanical
- Strong drive for achievement and results
- Ability to influence and motivate employees of differing job types, skills, and interest without direct authority
- Milestone Schedule development with MS Project or equivalent
- This position does not offer relocation assistance
- This role is anticipated to be a 40 hr./week work schedule with additional project coverage as required
