Job descriptionProspero TeachingYear 6 Class TeacherBlackley, North ManchesterProspero Teaching are working on behalf of a Roman Catholic primary school in Blackley, North Manchester. The school, who want to remain anonymous, are seeking a Year 6 Class Teacher to begin work after the May half-term. The contract will expire in March 2025 with the possibility of a permanent contract.Staff meetings, planning, marking, and all other aspects of the school day will be required for this vacancy. The desired candidate must have QTS and experience in Key Stage 2 is desired but not essential.The role will begin Monday 3rd June 2024 and will be on a full time basis over 5 days.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £125 per day (dependant on experience)
  • Hours – 8:00am – 16:00pm
  • Hold a DBS that is registered on the Update Service.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Teacher qualification or higher/equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
