Under the direction of the I.T. Helpdesk/Desktop manager, the Support Specialist provides efficient and flexible desktop support services with a strong customer service commitment. The Support Specialist will provide second level of support to issues reported as well as desktop administration of computer systems and related peripherals, classroom technology support, and will provide Help Desk customer support. Will be working in a clinical and academic environments. Travel is limited to CHS Campus, CHS clinical locations, and training sessions. Between 10 and 30% of time spent on this job is devoted to travel.Physical Requirements:
-Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs.
-Able to perform work in very tight places
-Able to climb ladders and work overhead
-Able to stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations.Environment Hazard:

- High School diploma or GED
- Two (2) years combined computer related education and/or experience
- Valid Driver's LicenseSkills, Knowledge and Proficiencies:
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of:
-Microsoft Windows 10 and 7
-Microsoft Office Suite 2013+
-Mac OS, IOS and android devices
-Desktop computer hardware
-Network printer operationsIn depth learning capacity for:
Microsoft Operating Systems
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Office 2013 & 2016
Microsoft OutlookPreferred:
-At least two years computer support experience or 3 years computer support combined with education.
