Senior Sales Executive (Shipping)

- Develop new clienteles / cargo bookings through referrals, newspaper, magazines, MSC's network and telemarketing;
- Achieve close level of support with client through daily contact, regular visit and entertainment i.e lunch, dinner, etc, to secure business;
- Track destination ports controlled shipments, to obtain full details from shipper (i.e full style address, commodity, rates if any) and send as sales leads to respective Port of Discharge to secure business;
- Ensure customers know the whereabouts of shipment through MSC Internet shipment tracking and tracing system;
- Attend to customer's complaint and co-ordinate with internal departments (Documentation, Operation, Finance and Cargo Flow Management) to resolve any issues and uphold our service commitment to customers.
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of Sales related function from shipping / container line;
- Strong MS Office software application;
- Portnet (preferred);
- Strong written & spoken English skill;
- Good communication and interpersonal skill;
- Customer orientated;
- Team player;
- Self-driven with the passion to deal with people;
- Able to work independently.
