OverviewWe are looking for a Performance Testing to join us for designing and implementing the first set of CM performance KPIs.You will be a vital member of our QA team and you will own responsibility for the Performance Testing of a variety of CM Solutions.What you will do:Each project is different, but typically you can expect to be working on the following:Construction and maintenance of performance test scripts to match requirementsCollaborating with colleagues in London to define suitable performance KPIsEstablish the setup in order to monitor the database and server performance.Participation on providing test estimates for performanceDocumenting the test steps and recording the test resultsAccurate recording of performance issues and follow-up with DEV and Solutions teamsSuggesting new processes and techniques to enhance the current performance testing processReviewing test environments configuration and processes to facilitate continuous improvementTo be successful in this role, you should have:8+ years of NFT testing experienceExperience of non-functional requirements for performance, resilience, monitoring & operabilityExperience working on service changes in respect of Infrastructure (including Cloud), Software & NetworksUnderstanding of Distributed Platform Technologies for Data Centres & Cloud ComputingUnderstanding of Fault Tolerant System behaviours for local and distributed ClustersAble to assess the technical risks inherent in a software and infrastructure platforms in respect of performance and resilienceInterpretation of System Resource Monitoring outputs to determine pinch points in CPU, Memory, Disk I/O and Network circuits Risk Analysis and articulation of the NFT Approach for a Project Testing RequirementDocumentation of NFT Test Approach and Test Results in a way that can be understood by both Business & Technical StakeholdersCreating Knowledge Artefact’s for the wider team to useTraining & Coaching of new team membersExperience in automated testing: java or pythonExperience in working with JMeter or another similar toolGood knowledge of SQLExperience in working with JIRAKnowledge of source version control systems: GitKnowledge on LinuxExperience in testing applications deployed in cloud (AWS)What else are we looking for?Strong verbal and written communication skillsLeadership skillsUnderstanding the test processesGood organizational skillsBe self-motivated, focused on finding solutionsComfortable with identifying, assessing, and solving problems quicklyHighly organised and able to compile detailed testing reportsAble to work well independently or in a group setup with cross-functional teamsBenefits:We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios!
