- Documenting packaging component specifications, technical reports and change of documentation according to Change Control procedures.
- Creating, reviewing and approving testing protocol and reports as required.
- Assisting in trouble shooting and leading investigation on Packaging Component problems for areas like production, warehouse, incoming inspection (minor and major deviation lead).
- Developing and improving technical contact with existing approved suppliers.
- Leading or contributing to projects related to packaging component optimization or new packaging introductions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (i.e. QA, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering and Validation Engineering).
- A degree in (Packaging) Design, Engineering and/or related professional experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging Engineering.
- Excellent understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Excellent organizational, project management, technical problem solving and communication (written and verbal in English) skills.
- The ability to work in teams and adapt to dynamic environment.
- Good understanding of materials and equipment used in secondary and tertiary (pharmaceutical) packaging industry.
- Experienced in creation of packaging materials specifications, including technical layout templates.
- Good understanding of the link between packaging materials specifications, production requirements, artwork requirements, supplier requirements, regulatory requirements, etc.
- Applies analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations and problems.
- Manages multiple assignments and processes.
- Independently determines approach to projects.
- Recognizes and escalates problems.
- Contributes to (project)team by ensuring quality of tasks/services provided by self and others.
- Gives support to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects or activities within own department or project team.
