Are you skilled in collaborating with design teams to develop 3D building models while ensuring accuracy in geometry, materials, and finishes? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Design Services team as a BIM Technician.At JLL, we are a global leader in real estate and investment management, dedicated to creating rewarding opportunities and amazing spaces for our clients. As a BIM Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional design and project coordination for architectural and interior projects across Australia.What this role involves:
  • Produce accurate and detailed tender and construction documentation using BIM / REVIT.
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop 3D building models, ensuring accuracy in geometry, materials, and finishes.
  • Perform quality checks on REVIT models and drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies and errors.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a library of standard BIM objects and templates to streamline the drawing production process.
  • Assist in the coordination and clash detection process by reviewing and resolving conflicts between different building systems in the REVIT models.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy and quality in the drawings.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as consultants, contractors, and suppliers, to provide accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Participate in design and coordination meetings, providing input and recommendations to enhance the overall project delivery process.
  • Perform site visits, defects inspections, and respond to RFIs as part of construction administration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or other suitably qualified course.
  • Prior experience in both Architectural and interior projects is preferable
  • Good understanding of tender and construction documentation
  • Ability to work well autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstratable project experience in Australia.
  • Sound and demonstratable BIM / Revit skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Sound knowledge of BCA and Australian Standards, ability to learn quickly and adapt to specific client requirements
