- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Postgraduate qualifications in relevant topic

- Outstanding reputation as a clinician and clinical leader, with a proven track record of producing high quality results.
- Experience of cross profession collaborative working.
- Evidence of continuing professional and managerial development.
- In-depth understanding of the complexity in providing cancer services within secondary healthcare.
- Knowledge of the UK health care sector.
- Demonstrable experience of a similar role or working at an equivalent level in a relevant healthcare organisation.
- Experience in building organisational capabilities, including establishing a clear strategic vision and direction and translation into successful outcomes.
- Experience of managing organisation wide agendas
