Freelance Plant Controller - Dutch and English

• Collaborates with the team to execute the plant's monthly/annual closing process, ensuring adherence accounting principles.
• Prepares and presents the plant financial forecasts, providing insights to drive decision-making.
• Manages the calculation of standard costing in SAP/BPC, including review and updates of bills of materials and routing.

• Oversees the financial process, including approval of purchase orders and monitoring of internal control requirements.
• Ensures the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls, identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities.
• Performs regular analysis to mitigate financial risks and capitalize on opportunities.

• Takes ownership of the financial aspects of the Capex process, actively participating in and providing final (co)sign-off on capex opportunity and feasibility studies.
• Manages project follow-up in SAP, including timely and complete closing, asset activation, and cost tracking.
• Conducts post-mortem analysis to assess the financial performance of investments.

• Leads the Cost Performance Tracker process, overseeing the collection, challenge, and clarification of financial impacts of initiatives.
• Educates plant personnel on key performance metrics to drive operational excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Plant controller experience is required.
• Bilingual Dutch/English.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
