- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues. Sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Preparing and checking technical articles for publication.Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems.
- Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
- Ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions, are appropriate.
- Providing information for the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and participates in the risk review assessment as required.
- Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers by leveraging general market information and insights provided by the Sales organization.
- Tertiary or degree qualifications in engineering.
- Fresh graduate or at least 1-2 years of experience in Tendering and Sales support.
- Computer literacy and competent in using SAP (preferable), MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project Salesforce are essential
- Good communication skills and assertive business acumen.
- Able to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level
- Advanced technical knowledge and commercial aspects of business
- Experience in financial reporting, and will be comfortable tracking costs
- Strategic and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills
