Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Performance Testing QA When building software, we will be going through many stages from initial requirements to going live, it&rsquos important to ensure that everything works according to specification. We are looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our elevated level of quality. Quality Assurance tester will seek bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they are dealt with. Responsibilities . Understand Performance testing Requirements from the Client, gather, analyze and devise test scenarios. . Clarify all performance testing requirements & be able to provide proper Estimation during Sprint Planning . Develop Test Plan, Strategies, Test Cases and Maintain the existing test artifacts. . Design the Necessary Test Bed along with test data required for Testing. . Experience in capacity planning and workload modelling. . Develop performance test framework and define test strategy. . Author performance test workflows and develop performance test scripts using JMeter, Loadrunner and Performance Center. . Support and maintenance of the existing performance test scripts. . Strong experience in Application Performance Management tools like NewRelic, Dynatrace. . Troubleshoot and identify solutions to technical challenges due to new or changing technologies and toolsets. . Experience working in a cross-functional development team with the ability to influence quality of products in that environment. . Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems. . Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts. . Strong oral and written communication skills. . Effective team building and problem-solving abilities. Qualifications Minimum qualifications we seek in you! B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MTech Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in Software Testing Preferred qualifications Good & Proven years of Experience in Performance Testing and yearsof experience in performance test design, execution, reporting, test bed setup and maintaining test artifacts. Good experience in reviewing requirements and clarifying all before proceeding with further testing processes. Good experience in using JMeter and Loadrunner tools Must have proven experience in handling any of the Test Management tools, preferably Rally or JIRA etc. Must be good at devising all possible test scenarios and providing good test coverage. Knowledge of Testing variants like API, Functional, Regression and Smoke etc. Good in Effort estimation, adherence to organization guidelines and regulations Experience in discussing and interacting with Stakeholders/Project Management/Clients and receive/review the feedback accurately.
