OverviewElement has an opportunity for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join our Credit Control Team within our central Finance team in Edinburgh. Our credit control team have recently expanded with our cash and banking team sitting within this team also now and is quickly becoming one of the largest teams within our global business services through an exciting growth period.This role will work as a business partner for one of our largest business units, work closely with our two existing Team Leaders and growing team of Credit Controllers, as well as our wider Shared Services hub.Our Shared Services hub is expanding - moving towards a true Global Business Services model, making this is really great time to join our team.Responsibilities
Day to day management of team
Manage escalations
Manage the business unit cash team member
Team training
Recruitment and Team development (OKR’s / Performance Management)
Oversight of business critical processes
Reduction of aged debt
Maximise cash collections
Resource management
Support Credit Manager
Stakeholder relationships
Advising & directing the Business Unit on Credit Control / maximising Cash Conversion
Reporting
Month end close
Manage our onboarding global function
Skills / Qualifications
Management experience
Previous experience in similar role, within a finance environment, is essential
Ability to work in a changing and fast paced environment
A can do attitude with willingness to work with team
Strong Excel skills, pivot tables, v look ups etc
Experience with multiple platforms and data sets
Desired but not essential:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience
Managing an onboarding team
Multi currency experience
Large value turnover business experience
