Assistant Group Insurance Manager

• Assist in the administration and renewal of the Group's corporate and international general insurance program.
• Coordinate and process general insurance claims, ensuring efficient resolution.
• Support in preparing the Group's annual general insurance market submission and internal renewal report.
• Act as a primary contact for internal business units and external insurance parties.
• Stay abreast of general insurance market trends and products relevant to their sector.
• Provide cover for the General Insurance Manager during their absence, managing queries effectively.

• Manage and resolve Group general insurance claims.
• Evaluate new customer contracts and joint venture relationships for insurance coverage implications.
• Oversee external general insurance advisory and underwriting relationships.
• Support the placement of local general insurance programs in accordance with Group policies.
• Assist in managing the Group's annual general insurance premium budget.
• Prepare and present reports to the Risk Management and Audit Committees.
• Review contractual insurance conditions and indemnity provisions.
• Provide guidance to departments on risk management and claims handling.

• Ideally experience in insurance markets, claims handling, and risk management, preferably in the energy sector.
• University degree in Risk Management, Business, Legal, or Finance.
• Qualified Solicitor with a litigation or commercial experience would be of interest.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficiency in reviewing commercial contracts and insurance provisions.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Positive and resilient attitude with a focus on high standards.
• Capacity to manage extensive workloads and meet demands independently.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to present compelling insurance solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
