For our business unit Offshore Wind, situated in Hoboken (Antwerp), we are looking for a Permit Officer (Offshore Wind).Do you have a solid experience in working with a Permit to Work-system, and do you want to expand your knowledge in a project driven environment?This function is exactly what you are looking for - keep reading!Purpose of the position: To support the hierarchical line in managing the interface between the countless activities being performed onsite.Your tasks and responsibilities?
you advise the project management from specific expertise, both solicited and unsolicited, to adjust and support the process
you review the work method statements
you make recommendations to project management & employees regarding production and working methods, the use of tools, appliances, and other tools, the design of workplaces, and substances that may pose a safety risk
you systematically examine the workplace and actively detect possible improvements
you manage the permit system on the project and advise the Project Manager on the implementation
you draw up work permits
you assist the Project Manager in coordinating the project sim ops
you keep permit plans up to date
you support the hierarchical supervision of compliance with the permit system, and optimize working conditions
you report the results of site inspections, internal permit audits, permit reportable to the Site Coordinator
you provide information about the permit system to the necessary parties
you ensure the project staff is trained on the use of the Permit to Work-system
you assist the project management with internal permit audits
you report to the Site Manager
What do you need?
experience in the field or a project-based Permit to Work-system
VOL/VCA
Microsoft Office skills
excellent communication skills in English & Dutch
