The world’s best brands trust Andela, including GitHub, Mastercard Foundry, ViacomCBS, and Mindshare.About the Role:The Finance Business Partner, Sr Manager, will report to FP&A and work closely with EVP of FPA and VP of Product. This role plays a critical part in ensuring Product visions and initiatives are modeled and risk assessed and will oversee the Finance Business Partner for the corporate functions. This is an exciting, strategic and highly visible role that requires diligence, good communication, and flexibility.Roles and Responsibilities:Become a thought partner to the VP of Product and the Product leadership team. Understand the business and influence key decision makers through meaningful insight and analysis.Lead the business partners through the annual planning process. This includes modeling out any new business initiatives, coordinating across the org with potential stakeholders and working closely with the Finance Marketplace team to ensure alignment with potential product launches.Prepare executive level actual vs budget analysis and commentary on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.Maintain an updated forecast for all supporting functions.Responsible for preparing ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management decisions.Track performance metrics and KPIs.Partner with Accounting at close to ensure proper recording and accruals.Identify and make recommendations where process improvements/policies are needed.Ad-hoc projects / analysis as needed.Collaborate with and build relationships across the organization, including within the FP&A team.Ensure finance diligence and integrity with all deliverables.Support with financial models in Adaptive.Lead, mentor and develop a direct report.Requirements:7+ years of progressive experience in a business partner role.Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferredCPA or equivalent preferred.Critical thinker, with a proactive sense of urgency, autonomous and accountable attitude to work.Excel proficiency as it pertains to financial modeling and financial planning.A self-starter who partners in a collaborative manner to support the Finance Org.Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment.Experience with Adaptive Insights a plus.English speaker B2 or above.#LI-REMOTE#LI-RDRBenefitsFully Remote work culture - we hire globally and all of our roles are fully remote!Bring your own device stipend - buy your own laptop with funds from AndelaFlexible working hoursEquity (as a part of the compensation package)Healthcare, 401k / pension (US only)Generous Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, Compassionate LeaveAnd more to come!
