Start Date: September 2024Contract Type: 0.6 FTE, PermanentGSL Education is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to work at an outstanding Secondary School in York, North Yorkshire, starting in September 2024.About the School:

- Planning and delivering Maths lessons to students based on their individual needs and the curriculum requirements.

- Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Follow the ethos and policies of the school, promoting positive behaviour throughout the school.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources that enhance the learning experience.
- Take part in staff training days, staff meetings and parent’s evenings.
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Maths or STEM Degree.
- Have recent experience teaching Maths to an education setting.
- Be able to provide 2 professional references, relating to your teaching within the last 2 years (placements will be accepted for ECTs).
- Be a passionate educator of young pupils with the ability to differentiate tasks for differing levels.
- You must have an enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
