Then we have a role for you within our diverse service environment!How you will make an impactDiscover impactful work as our new Field Service Engineer (FSE) based in the Nordics. As an FSE, you will be responsible for delivering service activities including Installations, Repairs and Maintenance Services for the Bulk Elemental Analysis team in EMEA. This highly exciting and professional role will deliver a high level of customer service resulting in customer happiness.ResponsibilitiesYou will primarily support our Nordic based customers utilising our Optical Emission Spectroscopy, X-Ray Fluorescence and robotic automation product portfolio. You will:Own and deliver on service activities such as installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, problem solving on scientific instrumentsSpecific product support to be given on OES, XRF, XRD and automation instruments.Work remotely providing on-site services exceeding customer expectations and ensuring that customers become promoters of our business through positive feedback and dedication.Deliver the highest professional relationship with our customer base raising technical issues to quickly resolve accurately critical tasks.Enable the customer's success through their partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific.Optimise own work schedule by coordinating with all the required partners for service planning (Dispatch function, Team Leader, Senior Manager)Manage company assets including parts inventory, laptop computer, mobile phone, test equipment, tools, software, company car etc.Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of activities including field service reports and expenses reportsCollaborate with the Sales team regarding lead generation, customer activities and updates.Candidates can be based anywhere within Norway, Sweden or Denmark, providing you live close to an international airport.Our OrganisationOur customized service offerings and outstanding services have the flexibility and experience to uniquely address our customer’s business needs. Professional background in Electronics/Engineering or related subjects
Experience in handling or servicing analytical equipment gained either as an Engineer, application specialist or working as a Scientist or Technician in a laboratory
Some knowledge of spectroscopy would be an advantage, but not critical
Proficient in English; additional Nordic languages a plus
A valid Driver’s License
Comfortable working in a customer-facing role, with an always customer-centric approach

Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
Self-sufficient; comfortable working independently and a logical approach to setting work priorities
Willing and able to travel extensively on a weekly basis across the region (4 to 5 days per week), including some overnight stays and longer trips for trainings etc - up to 70% annum.
