In this role, you will be heavily involved in the development and optimisation of firmware for innovative laboratory devices. Your expertise and commitment will contribute to continuously improving the performance and reliability of the products.Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, and optimisation of embedded firmware for laboratory devices.
Close collaboration with the hardware and software development team to understand requirements and develop solutions.
Conducting tests and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and functionality of the firmware.
Continuous development and optimisation of existing firmware systems. Documentation of design decisions, development processes, and test results.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Several years of experience in embedded software development, ideally in the medical technology or laboratory automation sector.
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems. Experience working with microcontrollers and embedded systems. Good knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, I2C, SPI).
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
Fluent in German and English.
