- Create new training curriculum that builds on existing initiatives and programs to ensure SolarWinds has the right capabilities to achieve strategic priorities.
- Work strategically with senior leaders and HRBPs to design in line with organizational development activities.
- Research, curate, and organize the most relevant and culturally appropriate learning content and resources to support employee development, which may include articles, videos, microlearning, and e-learning.
- Conduct learning and performance needs analyses.
- Facilitate/co-facilitate learning programs and workshops; maintain high participant evaluation scores.
- Apply adult learning principles, instructional design principles, and experience working with multiple formats (it, valet, digital formats, performance, and on-the-job development) to lead the creation of learning solutions.
- Manage and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with vendors, SMEs, peers and stakeholders.
- Manage enquiries from class participants and stakeholders; handle and resolve escalations.
- Create and maintain documentation related to learning programs, including program descriptions, participant rosters, evaluations, marketing materials, etc.
- Research and recommend learning technology tools including authoring tools, content libraries, learning management systems, and other tools as required.
- Curate and monitor the relevancy and effectiveness of LMS content. Leverage standard office tools and specialized L&D and People tools for learning program administration and surveys (LMS, HRIS, Microsoft Office, various survey tools).
- Oversee the learning management system (LMS) and other training systems.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and the development of L&OD strategy.
- Identify new approaches and resources to improve and enhance the customer experience.
- Design for and measure against required business outcomes.
- Use surveys to evaluate, track, and report on the impact of programs and initiatives. Approve changes to content and recommendations for improvement.
- Curriculum Design: strong, previous experience in strategic learning curriculum design for all levels
- Facilitation: expert/master facilitator
- Critical thinking: strong reasoning skills; able to structure thinking into logical flow and sequence that's easy for others to understand; able to create and work with conceptual frameworks
- Communication: clear, compelling, and practical style of writing, editing, and speaking; ability to adapt style to a variety of audiences
- Business acumen: high intelligence and ability to quickly grasp complex business issues; strong critical reasoning and ability to formulate and work with conceptual frameworks
- Stakeholder management: able to establish positive relationships and align others around accomplishing goals
- Integrated People perspective: working knowledge of related People sub-functions and tools (succession management, performance management, organizational effectiveness, organizational design, performance consulting)
- General knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize own work and that of L&D specialists; ability to manage and meet tight deadlines while working in high energy situations
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and in a team environment while overseeing the time and work of L&D specialists; model leadership behaviors of collaboration, adaptability, and stakeholder focus
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer and technical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Project management: able to prioritize, scope, plan, budget and execute to independently move projects forward
- Ability to maintain flexible working hours to accommodate teams in multiple geographic locations
- Critical analysis capabilities and the ability to solve complex problems
- Must be comfortable in an environment of evolving technologies and processes and willing to be a model and advocate for change; adaptable and flexible to new ways of working
- Proven expertise in leadership development concepts, design and facilitation
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in learning and development, HR, or organizational development/effectiveness
- Experience using a learning management system (LMS)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, human resource management, organizational development, business, or other relevant discipline a plus
- Coaching experience and/or certification strongly preferred; experience with profiling tools and 360 assessments desired
