Join us and let's build the future.Job Summary:The product engineer will sustain new product structures platforms for different Belden manufacturing units, as well create systems to improve deliveries in its responsibilities. Participate on the sustainment around BU#s as business requires.Responsibilities:##Accountability will be measured based on assignment the achievement of desired results.##Directs, implements, coordinates and/or executes activities required by the specific assignment.##Must be able to interact with R&D Engineers (Electrical and Mechanical) and Product management.##Responsible of cost estimations based on an industrial model.##Set up ERP/MRP part number structures, routings, and BOMs for new products.##Responsible for quotes and cost assignation for new components.##Responsible of a cost allocation to new products.##Responsible for delivery schedules, task progress.##Responsible for productivity/ continuous improvement projects.##Write technical documentation such as work instructions, and workmanship standards.##Data bases and label systems sustainment across all BU#s as multifunctional element.Required Skills and Experience##BS/MS degree in ME/EE/Mfg. or other related Science/Engineering field##Softs skills assertive communication (English and Spanish).##Knowledge of programing Visual Basic.##Proficient in MS Office (Word, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, Access), Minitab, AutoCAD, Solid Works, Code Soft, Outlook, MRP#s systems such as BPCS, Oracle or any other.##Good understanding of all operationally systems such a product management (LC), finance, supply chain, logistics.##Ability to work well with others - teamwork, cooperation, respect, and integrity, and excellent communication.##Ability to logically document and solve problems and to keep projects moving##Must be a self-motivated, organized and strong communicator##Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality improvement methods.##Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard.##Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Let's Write the Next 100 Years Together.
