Oakleaf Partnership is working with a globally recognised business who are looking for a customer-focused Payroll Specialist. The role joins a lovely team and will be expected to hit the ground running ensuring that all employees in the relevant business areas are paid correctly and on time. The role will support payroll across the EMEA region.What is the roleAs a Payroll Specialist, you will be performing payroll-related functions under country and local laws, ensuring all end of year tax documents are provided to employees in accordance with statutory deadlines, supporting all aspects of payroll and having a full understanding of legislation and processes regarding absence, holiday pay and new starters and leavers. You will be collecting payroll and benefit information from various sources, and provide monthly payroll instructions to the payroll provider, reviewing and verifying payroll data using strict internal control policies and to perform audits and controls. You will also provide ad-hoc support to other members of the team, assist with internal, external and statutory audits as required and with ad-hoc projects as necessary and be creating and updating payroll procedure documents and streamlining and automating current processes.Candidate profile/experienceThe successful candidate will have previous experience processing UK and ideally international payrolls using third party vendors. You will have experience of payroll applications such as ResourceLink, Workday or any other HRIS systems.
