We are seeking a dedicated Team Manager to join a global law firm in their legal delivery centre in Leeds. You will manage a team of Paralegals overseeing activity on document review.The Team Manager will have a range of responsibilities including; Overseeing day to day activity in the LDC's EDM team.· Supporting (and supplementing) the work of the Paralegals in delivering a very high quality service;· Ensuring the team delivers to internal and external client requirements· Managing the expectations of those providing the instructions, including tracking progress, anticipating and highlighting resourcing issues and ensuring we provide sufficient and timely updates;· Line Management responsibility for the team;· Acting as the initial point of contact in connection with any issues and escalating as necessary;· Ensuring standard ways of working are adhered to;· Ensuring robust checks and quality controls are in place;· Identifying training needs and providing coaching to ensure the team are able to meet expectations;· Ensuring work is properly staffed;· Ensuring the playbooks are comprehensive and kept up to date;· Assessing opportunities to improve operational processes, documentation and training;· Conducting performance reviews in accordance with line management responsibility.Rare opportunity to join a global law firm as a team manager|Great salary and benefits on offerThe successful Team Manager should have:
  • Experience working as a Solicitor in England
  • Proficiency in managing legal teams and coordinating operations.
  • Ideally a background managing paralegals.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • A background in Litigation or document review.
  • Ability to handle escalated issues professionally.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
