To support the goals and objectives of the campaign by ensuring that individual sales targets are achieved/exceeded, whilst also contributing towards overall team performance in a consistent, professional and ethical manner.
Responsibility Area
- Outbound calls - Sales of services and products
- Administration - Processing of sales agreement
- Internal/External customer communication
- Overflow Support
- Initiate sales and inform customers of current specials, product information and other related activites. Maintain a high level of understanding of current products and services. Ensure that monthly targets are met.
- Ensure that customer information is correctly and accurately captured onto the various sales support systems. Responsible for responding and following up on all rescheduled calls and pending information.
- Liaising with the various sales channels, support staff, internal/external customers and other relevant personnel in a professional manner that in line with our company values.
- Provide additional support to the contact centre operations in terms of taking calls, handling internal/external client queries as and when required to do so.
- Essential requirements - Cold calling SA clients
- Minimum 6 months insurance telesales experience (cold calling) - Ideally selling motor products (agents who are currently selling / who have just finished selling motor campaigns)
- Min. qualification - Matric
- Sales/Marketing Degree/Diploma would be advantageous
- Ideally someone with a FAIS and RE qualification
- Valid DOFA / No DOFA
- Must possess world-class sales skills and should have good interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Ability to expeditiously conclude the sales process coupled with good oral and written communication skills.

Must possess ability to work in a highly pressurised environment, with high levels of accountability and responsibility. Must be service-orientated and maintain focus on delivery and best business practices at all times. May be required to work overtime.
