Commencing on 01 August 2024 (or as soon as possible thereafter), this is a fixed-term, 2 year post, with possible conversion to a permanent position at the end of that interval subject to business needs.You will have demonstrable expertise in ecology, with a broad background including fieldwork, ideally in UK contexts. Experience that will allow you to design and deliver a range of effective, practical-based sessions in subjects that align with our postgraduate course and undergraduate courses, including , and , is essential. You will have an evolving research profile that is consistent with your career stage and a clear set of personal research objectives.The Biosciences group has a strong reputation for high-quality, research-informed teaching, having placed first for overall student satisfaction in The Guardian and The Times University League Tables and regularly co-publishing with students. The group has consistently been submitted for the REF and remains central to the University's goal of achieving internationally-excellent and world-class outputs and impact from the majority of its research. The School of Education & Science is in robust health, offering an extensive range of subjects and inter-disciplinary work.
