WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
  • This is a full time, permanent position.
  • Salary, Circa 26k Per Annum DOE
  • 8am-4pm working arrangement, Mon-Fri
  • Hours per week – 37.5
  • Holiday package – 33 days, inclusive of bank holidays

THE BUSINESSStores person opportunity! This role is situated nearby the Port of Blyth area!Our client is a leading provider of engineering solutions in the marine and offshore industry, dedicated to fostering innovation and delivering top-notch quality. They take immense pride in their commitment to excellence and their vibrant team environment. As a Stores person within this business, you'll be working alongside the Store Coordinators responsible for managing incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining accurate documentation, and upholding efficient stock control practices.THE ROLE
  • Welcome delivery drivers and ensure parcels are placed correctly in the goods inward area for processing.
  • Verify deliveries against notes and purchase orders, accurately record them in client’s system, and store items in the designated location.
  • Assist with scanning and uploading documents onto our system and collaborate with engineers when necessary.
  • Fulfil orders for projects by picking and booking out items as requested.
  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and safety in the stores area.
  • Assist with preparing items for shipping, including picking, packing, and weighing.
  • Ensure all correct items are booked out and consignment notes are properly signed before forwarding them to the relevant contact.
  • The role may require occasional driving to collect items from suppliers.
THE PERSON + ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driving licence is highly preferential due to the location of site
  • Ability to work flexibly and stay organised.
  • Physical capability to handle stock as required.
  • Proactive attitude, particularly during quieter periods.
  • Dedication to providing outstanding service.
