Key ResponsibilitiesPerform specialized Engineering services to identify and tackle top engineering challenges based on commodities, special topics and renewables,energy efficiency, by benchmarking engineering practices and best available technologies used by oil & gas usersLiaise and develop partnerships with Saudi Aramco Engineering Services.Participate and provide feedback and technical comments on scheduled reviews of Saudi Aramco technical standards and specifications such as SAES, SAEP, SAMSS, etc.Attend Standards Committee meetings and Value Engineering Studies to resolve comments and discuss other members commentsProvide input to technical requirements that enable organizations to operate and maintain facilities efficiently and cost effectivelyAdvise SA Engineering and AOC management on topics related to mechanical, instrumental, electrical and civil engineering of interest to Saudi AramcoActive membership in international (standards) organizations, end-user groups, councils etc. to support engineering activitiesProvide expert advice and assistance to Company organizations, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to his area of expertiseParticipate in engineering studies to determine potential problems and remedies to existing problems, resolve complex technical problems, increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safetyDevelop together with SAO/ES and maintains Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures & Standards and Design Best Practices, Design Manuals or other documentation to enhance company profitability, safety and productivityIntroduce and evaluate best practices and new technologies from all over the world to help the Company achieve Best in Class positions in the oil businessReview and evaluate the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to Aramco. Acts as AOC' s representative in dealings with vendors and manufacturers pertaining to his field of expertiseWork on or with Task Forces assigned to investigate incidents or solve specific problems. Perform cost analyses and Value Engineering Studies as appropriate. RequirementsBachelor, Master or PhD degree in engineering or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable.Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration is highly desirableExcellent English skills, both written and verballyA thorough knowledge of mechanical, instrumental, electrical or civil work fieldMinimum of 15 - 20 years of work experience in Engineering or related activitiesFunctional Specific RequirementsRequired Competency LevelsInitiative
