- Drive growth and expansion of existing B2B and financial services accounts through deep sector expertise and understanding of complex business challenges, including emerging technologies like AI and blockchain, while helping clients achieve their business objectives.
- Serve as an integral member of the client relationship team, collaborating on strategic initiatives that span traditional finance, professional services, and B2B sectors, while proactively addressing the evolving needs of regulated industries.
- Lead planning and creative efforts for sophisticated B2B and financial services clients, confidently developing fresh approaches - from large-scale campaigns to practical tactical solutions - that resonate with specialized business audiences.
- Anticipate challenges unique to regulated industries and create strategies to navigate complex compliance requirements while maintaining effective communications.
- Set high standards for strategic thinking, flawless execution, and measurable results that align with both business and regulatory requirements.
- Bring an entrepreneurial and consultative approach to growing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities across financial services and B2B verticals, while crafting strategic business development plans that demonstrate deep understanding of client business challenges.
- Work with the Corporate Affairs leadership to develop proprietary frameworks, IP and thought leadership to bring to clients and prospects.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity across financial services and B2B sectors, ensuring Golin delivers innovative yet compliant solutions.
- B.S. degree in areas such as Business, Marketing, Market Research, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Must have 12+ years of experience in the public relations or communications-related field, with a heavy emphasis of working in the B2B, financial services and/or tech sector, in a client-facing, progressive leadership role.
- Exceptional business savvy and client service skills, with a proven track record of pitching and winning business, overseeing sizeable client activations in the enterprise technology, hardware, and software space.
- Experience leading teams and being positioned as a trusted subject matter expert, specifically in the tech space, and go-to partner to clients and teams.
- Possess a deep understanding of earned media, social/content and proven experience and success collaborating effectively across all marketing disciplines and other integrated agency partners that help drive demand generation.
- Expertise in the B2B, financial service and/or technology industry and a deep understanding of its ecosystem of market and business influencers.
- Experience working across an integrated team, with a collaborative and proactive demeanor, delivering big-picture thinking, while pairing it with flawless execution.
- Robust relationship builder and engaging leader, with strong B2B and technical acumen, and ability to influence long standing, key senior clients.
- Deep seated experience formulating effective strategic communications plans, establishing trust, fulfilling organizational objectives and business goals, in a complex and fast-paced organization.
- Proven team leader, with the ability to build, grow, mentor, inspire, and motivate.
