This role is ideal for an experienced Civil Engineer looking to progress and grow into a Senior position.With a minimum of 8 years' experience in a hands-on capacity, you will play a key role in:

Providing advice and demonstrating strong technical skills producing engineering design for projects and design packages
Feasibility, concept design and project delivery of civil projects
Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
Production of engineering reports and supporting tender proposals
Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of project deliverables
Mentoring and assisting with the professional development of junior engineers and designers

About You

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
8 - 10+ years civil engineering experience, working for an engineering design consultancy
CPEng or working towards becoming chartered
Excellent civil design knowledge, with previous experience working on urban/land development projects
Knowledge and experience in the use of relevant civil software packages - Civil 12D, AutoCAD, Music & Drains etc.
Strong understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards
Australian working rights
