We offer end-to-end solutions for leading-edge low-power mixed-signal SOCs from feasibility study through to system architecture, digital and analogue design, verification and validation, implementation and layout, embedded software design, ATE test, production, and characterisation.Based in our Bristol office, this role offers an Engineer level position in Digital IP Design working alongside System and IC architects, Verification, Validation and Software teams. The successful candidate will have technical skills and hands-on design experience in low power digital IP.Key Responsibilities
- Design and Integration of RTL blocks including DSP, SoC and peripheral IP.
- Documentation including micro architecture and programming guides.
- Contributing to the work package from specification through to delivery.
- Contributing to project plan to ensure predicable outcomes.
- Running ASIC development tools including Lint, CDC, Synthesis, Power analysis tools.
- Collaboration with verification teams to debug design issues found in simulation.
- Reporting status and communicating progress against expectations.
- RTL design in System Verilog with good digital design knowledge.
- Effective communicator with excellent technical presentation skills.
- Familiarity with the Arm AMBA/AXI specifications or other bus protocols
- Some familiarity with peripheral interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART, PWM.
- Understanding of RTL and Gate-Level power analysis.
- Ability to develop tests in a UVM environment.
- Ability to automate and improve process through scripting in Python, Perl.
- Proactive, creative, curious, motivated to learn and contribute with good collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Masters’ degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
