The interdisciplinary offering coupled with academic and practitioner expertise across healthcare makes our offering an exciting opportunity for stakeholders across the new health economy.About the roleThe Marketing Officer will support activities that attract and convert top quality candidates from around the world, communicating both GBSH and specific programmes’ unique value proposition to a diverse audience. They will:
  • Deliver an integrated programme marketing plan to ensure targets for admissions and diversification of the student body are achieved, supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager in the development and delivery of the overarching School Marketing Plan.
  • The role holder will work closely with academic leads and develop in depth knowledge of the programme portfolio in order to communicate it to prospective applicants.
  • They will contribute to the annual copy calls for the prospectus and CRM supporting the student application journey with specific events for open day and other activities.

And have experience in cross channel marketing and digital campaigns to generate leads, nurture and convert applicants.You will have a high level of digital literacy, desktop publishing, CRM tools. You will have excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to organise your workload with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines as necessary. The ability to write, edit copy and present to a variety of audiences is also essential. You will be a committed team player and have a willingness to “muck-in”, but equally be able to work independently when required. You can also think innovative by always looking to challenge the work produced to ensure it is of exceptional quality.It is essential that you be able to evaluate information quickly and identify key issues, provide strategic direction and resources to achieve desired outcomes and proactively work with other people, teams, partners and functions for the benefit of the wider institution.Please refer to the job description person specification for further requirements.
