Objective Develops, Manages, and improves Maintenance Systems both for Production and Facility Equipment including Spare Parts Management to ensure sustainability of Production Operations Develops equipment and facility continuous improvement to align and support Production Operations capacity needs. Main Duties and Responsibilities Reviews and improves maintenance plan, schedule and procedures & checklist comprehending OEMs recommendations for the right and appropriate approach of maintenance both Production and Facility Equipment Develops and improves equipment condition regular audits like the use of thermal scanner to check condition of motors, panel boards, and other auxiliaries and equipment for possible excessive heat without stopping those. Vibration meter could also be applicable as an example Ensures compliance of Preventive Maintenance schedule, procedure, and checklist Ensures right tools to be used for Preventive Maintenance and Repair activities are available Ensures the right training for maintenance personnel is provided Reviews and improves Spart Parts Management approach to ensure parts availability whenever needed to avoid prolonged downtime of the equipment. Strategies would include review and classification of Critical and non-critical parts; Fast moving & slow-moving parts, Cost, Lead time, Consumption rate and required Safety stocks. Spare parts management approach includes sourcing local and abroad, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) to OPM (original parts manufacturer) including local fabrication for non-critical parts. Parts obsolescence review is another approach to ensure equipment spare parts requirement is always supported Analyse equipment condition, uptime and downtime and recommended solution to improve its condition to bring it to production worthy mode Implement measurable metric to monitor and measure equipment performance like MTBA/MTBF, Unplanned Downtime, Utilization, or others, whichever is applicable Coordinates with suppliers for outside maintenance service the compliance of preventive maintenance schedule and compliance to maintenance procedures and checklist, monitors the quality of the actual service. Ensures service report is accomplished and signed, including record keeping of that accomplished maintenance forms Supervises engineers and technicians' activities Monitors and controls budget Coordinates and supervises outside maintenance services; analyse the service report, including quality of service, cost, and scope of work, including reviews and renewal of contracts Coordinates with building admin / owner for building maintenance activities and requirements Collaborates with cross-functional team; Production, QA, Engineering for operational concerns Collaborates with procurement / purchasing for PR/PO of the maintenance requirements Attends internal and external audits. Address and close findings Ensures systems are complied like VQ WO maintenance logging, VQ PM compliance logging, Update of Machine PM sticker, Compliance to PM procedure and checklist, and SOPs Helps with maintenance team on root-cause analysis of maintenance issue / problem, including analysis of bastardized or early failure / failing parts Helps develops maintenance cost reduction initiatives, including Enercon (energy conservation) and equipment efficiency improvement Collaborates (if needed) with VCNL team for possible solutions and improvements as far as maintenance aspect is concerned Develops and implements measurable KPI as aligned with VCPS G&O for the maintenance tea Qualifications Background College degree holder from reputable university or colleges preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering courses, ME qualifications, or on track to become qualified. Requires minimum of 8 years' work-related experience in a manufacturing industry Knowledge in PLC (programmable logic controls) is an advantage
